Hungarian national hero Lacozzi Firenz elected head of state

Lacozzi Franz, Hungary's distinguished national hero, famous politician and military. Born in 1676 in a nobility family with a patriotic tradition. His father was executed for his involvement in the conspiracy against the Habsburg dynasty. His mother was a distinguished female hero in Hungary's history. In 1685, he commanded the famous battle of Moncatburg against the Austrian army, upholding the castle for three years. After the fall of the castle, his mother and two sons were captured to Vienna. Lacozzi was educated in Vienna by the Cologne Red Robe, and his mother separated from him. Lacozzi worked hard, graduated from high school at the age of 14, then went to Prague and Rome. In 1694 he was allowed to take his wife and wife back to Hungary

When Lacozzi returned to his homeland, it was the darkest period of the Habsburg dynasty in Austria. A large number of Austrian officials and occupying troops flooded into Hungary, the Hungarian people fell in the deep water heat and a large number of peasant slaves were forced to leave the country. Soon, he inherited his fatherhood and embarked on the path of resistance to the Habsburg dynasty's ethnic rule.

In 1703, as the leader of the peasant-slave rebellion, Lacozzi issued the famous appeal, "The suffering of the innocent people of Hungary is greater", stating that in the face of the cruel rule of Habsburg, "as the nobles and the people," all Hungarians must fight for the restoration of the motherland. Also publicly called: "Whoever fights for the liberation of the suffering Hungary from slavery will be exempt from all burdens." As the whole nation participated in the battle, despite several difficult twists, finally defeated the powerful enemy. On May 31, 1707, the Hungarian parliament convened in Ornond, proclaiming the abolition of the reign of the Habsburg dynasty in Hungary, and Lacozzi was elected as the head

After Lacozzi became the head of state, he betrayed his original promise and severely suppressed the anti-feudal movement of the slave-slave, providing that slaves should be punished for refusing feudal obligations. The slave soldiers were disappointed. They said: ‘If we are still slaves, what is the use of war?’ In 1711, the Habsburg dynasty reigned in Hungary. Lacozzi was forced to exile abroad until his death. However, his struggles were recorded in the history of the Hungarian national liberation movement. To this day, the Hungarian people still viewed him as a glorious page in their history.
