March 23, 1912 – American rocket expert Browns is born.
113 years ago today, on March 23, 1912 (February 5, 1912 in the lunar calendar), the birthday of American rocket expert Broth. Braus was born on March 23, 1912 in Vilsitz, Germany (now Poland). He attended Zurich School in Switzerland in his early years. Graduated from the Berlin Institute of Technology in 1932. In 1934, he received his doctorate in physics from the University of Berlin. After graduating from college, he was employed in the Ordnance Department of the German Army to engage in rocket research. The A-2 rocket was successfully developed in 1934. Soon, he set out to develop the world's first A-4 (i.e. V-2) medium-range ballistic missile. By 1937, Germany had launched A-1 to A-5 missiles dozens of times. On October 3, 1942, the first test launch of the V-2 missile was successful. After many test firings, it attracted Hitler's attention. After Germany was defeated in World War II, Braus went to the U.S. Army Equipment Design and Research Bureau to study and trial-produce missiles. He has successfully developed rockets such as Ruby, Cupid, Pershing and Cupid C. On January 31, 1958, the American "Explorer 1" launched the first artificial earth satellite in the United States with the "Cupid C" rocket designed by him. In 1969, he used the "Saturn 5" rocket designed by him to send humans to the moon... Browse is a hobby writer. He has written or co-written nine monographs and dozens of papers, giving countless lectures. On June 16, 1977, Brouse died in the United States.
