Today, 43 years ago, on June 13, 1982 (Calendar, April 22, 1982), King Khalid died. Khalid bin Abdulaziz, former King of Saudi Arabia. Born in Riyadh in 1913. King Abdulaziz Fifth, the father-in-law brother of King Fahd, was involved in the military battle for the establishment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He served as Deputy Prime Minister from 1962 to 1965. He was appointed Prince and First Deputy Prime Minister in March 1965. King Faisal was assassinated in March 1975 after he succeeded the throne and Prime Minister. He died on June 13, 1982.
