On December 31, 1924, Sun Yat-sen entered Kyoto to rescue the country.
101 years ago today, on December 31, 1924 (December 6, 1924 in the lunar calendar), Sun Yat-sen went to Beijing to save the country and help the sick. On December 31, 1924, Sun Yat-sen came to Beijing from Tianjin, and was warmly welcomed by 100,000 people from all walks of life. Sun Yat-sen left Guangzhou on November 13th, passed through Hong Kong and Shanghai, bypassed Japan, and arrived in Tianjin on December 4th, publicizing revolutionary ideas along the way. However, Duan Qirui issued the Declaration of Foreign Worship and Guoxin, and actively organized the aftermath meeting, which opposed Sun Yat-sen's two ideas. Sun Yat-sen was deeply disappointed when he saw that the political situation in the north was complicated and turbulent, and the Northern warlords were completely unreliable. He couldn't afford to get sick when he was in Tianjin. However, in order to make the final struggle, Sun Yat-sen still went to Beijing ill, and specially issued the Declaration of Entering Beijing, saying that entering Beijing was "not to fight for status rights, but to save the country".
