On March 2, 2000 (January 27, 2000 in the lunar calendar), the "Resource-1" satellite was officially delivered for use. On March 2, 2000, China's first high-speed transmission remote sensing resource satellite-"Resource-1" satellite was officially delivered for use in Beijing. This satellite was jointly developed by China Academy of Space Technology and Brazil's National Institute of Space Research, and was successfully launched from Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center on October 14, 1999. It is the first satellite jointly developed by China and foreign countries, and has set a precedent for the first successful launch of domestic application satellites. After the "Resource-1" satellite is put into use, China and Pakistan will jointly manage and share rights and interests.
