He also registered "Shengtao Co., Ltd." in Hong Kong in the name of his younger brother, and organized an art exhibition in Beijing in the name of this company, in an attempt to form a "strength and organization" beneficial to him. Wei Jingsheng also actively and secretly connected some people at home and abroad, studied the so-called struggle strategies, planned to unite illegal organizations, and "gained momentum" to make organizational preparations for conspiracy to subvert the government. Wei Jingsheng also published a large number of articles abroad through illegal channels attacking the Chinese government, slandering and slandering the socialist system, the Communist Party of China (CPC) 's leadership and advocating Tibet's independence, echoing overseas forces and organizations hostile to China, and creating public opinion for overthrowing the people's * dictatorship and socialist system and splitting the country. The court presented Wei Jingsheng's "Introduction to Projects in Need of Help" and a large number of articles, manuscripts and other documentary evidence published abroad, and read out the witness's testimony. Wei Jingsheng confessed to the facts found by the court. According to the provisions of Articles 90, 92, 52 and 60 of the Criminal Law of the People's Republic of China, the court made the above judgment according to law.
