King Louis XV of France dies

Louis XV (15 February 1710 – 10 May 1774), known as the Beloved, was king of France from 1715 to 1774.

Louis was fifty-five years old, but Duke Philip II of Orleans was the monarch at the time. He magically continued the entire deadly family, and the early days of his reign were loved by the French people. However, he was unable to reform the French monarchy and his European rhetoric policy, so that he lost the support of the people. And after his death he became one of the most reckless kings of France. During his late reign, the court life was rotten, and the economic problems of Louis XIV were not well resolved. Though he did not die in his childhood and escaped a crash, he was ultimately unable to escape the torture of disease, and died on May 10, 1774.
