Qatar Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammed said at the preparatory meeting of the Arab-Islamic Emergency Summit held in Doha on September 14 that the Israeli air strike in Doha on September 9 was a blatant violation of Qatar’s sovereignty and a serious violation of international law and foreign norms, demonstrating the Israeli government’s refusal to resolve the Palestinian issue by peaceful means.
Mohammed said that if the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people are not guaranteed, the region cannot achieve complete peace and security. Israel's attack will not prevent Qatar from continuing to push for an end to the war together with Egypt and other countries.
The emergency summit will be held in Doha on September 15.
