130 years ago today, on August 5th, 1895 (the 15th day of the sixth lunar month), Engels died of illness.

On August 5, 1895, Engels died of throat cancer in his apartment in London, England, at the age of 75. When Lenin, a Russian Social Democrat, was only 25 years old, he cited the enthusiastic poem of the poet Nekrasov as the beginning of his memoir, Friedrich Engels:

How bright is the light of wisdom,

What a great heart stopped beating!

Engels was born on 28 November 1820, in the house of a factory owner in the city of Barmen, in the province of Rhein, Germany. He was well educated from childhood, not willing to inherit his father's profession and to study society. In 1844, he met Marx and became Marx's like-minded warrior, and spent a great, glorious life together for the cause of liberation of mankind. On 26 July 1895 he wrote a supplement to the will of a philosopher. In order to prevent an accident in life, he made a will before he traveled to Zurich on 29 July 1893; on 14 November 1894 he wrote a letter to the people who carried out his will, explaining their affairs; on 26 July 1895 he wrote a supplement to the will of a philosopher. In his will he assigned three quarters

In a letter to the executor on November 14, 1894, Engels had hoped that his body would be cremated and his ashes would be sunk into the ocean.

On August 10, 1895, Engels was modestly funered in the Waterloo Station Hall at Westminster Bridge, London. All Engels' relatives, friends or close comrades-in-arms attended the funeral, a total of 80 people. Liebknecht delivered a eulogy, praising Engels and Marx for laying the foundation of scientific socialism together. ()

In accordance with Engels¡¯s will, he sent his ashes tank to the Eastbourne coast, where he once loved to rest, into the ocean.
