In the 55th year of Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty (1790 AD), the four major Hui classes from southern China entered Beijing one after another. The first Hui troupe to enter Beijing was "Sanqing", which mainly sang "Erhuang". Later, three other Hui groups: "Sixi","Chuntai" and "Hechun" also came to Beijing. Due to its rich voice and repertoire, it gradually overshadowed the Qin Opera and Kunqu Opera that were popular in Beijing at that time. Many actors from the Qin Opera Class transferred to the Hui Opera Class, forming a fusion of the Hui and Qin Opera Class. Most Kunqu opera actors also transferred to Huizhou Class. During the Daoguang period of the Qing Dynasty, Hubei actors came to Beijing and brought Chu Diao (Xipi Diao). In the capital and Huizhou class, Xipi and Erhuang merged, forming the so-called "Pihuang Opera". The Pihuang opera formed in the capital at this time was influenced by the Beijing pronunciation and tone, and had the characteristics of "Beijing Yin". This kind of yellow opera with Beijing characteristics is called "Beijing Opera", also known as "Peking Opera".
