On this day, 85 years ago, on June 24, 1940 (the 19th fifth month of the lunar calendar), Luo Zhenyu died of illness. Luo Zhenyu, born in 1866, is also known as Shuyan and known as Xuetang. He was born in Huai 'an, Jiangsu Province. His ancestral home was Shangyu, Zhejiang Province. He was born as a scholar. In 1896, he founded the Agricultural News in Shanghai to oppose the Reform Movement of 1898. Later, he engaged in education and founded the Eastern Literature Society. In 1900, he served as Prime Minister of Hubei Agricultural Affairs Bureau and Supervisor of Agricultural Affairs School, and Supervisor of Agricultural Science at Capital University. He has compiled the archives of the Qing Dynasty cabinet. After the outbreak of the Revolution of 1911, he fled to Japan and devoted himself to sorting out oracle bones. He returned to China in the spring of 1919. In 1924, at the call of Pu Yi, the deposed Emperor of the Qing Dynasty, he entered the Nanfang Study Room to inspect palace artifacts with Wang Guowei. In November of the same year, he helped Puyi escape into the Japanese Embassy. In 1925, with the help of the Japanese Embassy, Pu Yimi was sent to Tianjin. After the September 18th Incident, he participated in the activities of creating "Manchukuo". In 1933, he served as director of the "Manchukuo" Supervisory Council. Retired in June 1937. Before his death, he wrote "Yin Ruins Book Deeds Before Compilation","Later Compilation","Yin Ruins Book Deeds" and "Changing Sand Slip".
