EXO

Starting from 20:00 on July 20, 2014, a large-scale explosion occurred in Baidu Post Bar, a subsidiary of Baidu, the largest Chinese search engine in China. Several Post Bars, including EXO Bar and EXO Wangdao Bar, were attacked. This incident was called the EXO Post Incident.

Exo Bar and exo King Bar are post bars composed of fans of South Korean artist group EXO. As a fan group, its individual fans are also mixed. In July 2014, some EXO fans launched indiscriminate attacks on ACG fans, calling them traitors, brainless fans, escapism, etc., which aroused the anger of many ACG fans. However, EXO fans did not respond correctly in a timely manner. Instead, they scolded each other and further attacked ACG fans, gradually expanding the situation. In addition, some EXO fans claimed that I could give up my virginity for EXO, make verbal attacks with another ACG lover, and even threaten with gangsters. They also exposed their boyfriend's phone number (just for themselves, and there is no other evidence, but the number is not empty), claiming that they are not afraid of retaliation. However, the chat history at that time was screenshot and spread through various channels, causing further anger among many ACG lovers.

From July 18 to 19, 2014, notices to explode exo bars and exo King bars appeared one after another on the Internet, escalating the verbal confrontation into an organized and planned collective retaliation action for the EXO bar explosion incident.
