Scala Opera House is the largest opera house in Italy and one of the best acoustics in the world. It is located in the center of Milan, about 200 meters away from the Cathedral of Milan. The opera house was built in 1778. Its predecessor was the Grand Duke Theatre, which was the largest theater in Milan at that time, but was unfortunately destroyed in a fire in 1776. It was rebuilt in the same year. It took 1 year and 9 months to build it. The stage is 35 meters deep, 26.6 meters wide and 27.5 meters high. The pool seat is horseshoe shaped and has 678 seats. There are 6 floors of towers around, the first to fourth floors are boxes, each box has 6 seats, and the top two floors are ordinary towers, with a total of 409 seats. With the pool seats, the entire theater can accommodate more than 3600 spectators. The carved beams and painted buildings in the hall are resplendent. In particular, a very exquisite large crystal chandelier hangs above the 18.8-meter-high dome in the center of the pool seat. It consists of 362 colorful small lights, making the hall more magnificent. The emperor's box in the middle of the second floor is inlaid with gold and silver, with silk blankets and velvet curtains, like an emperor's bedroom. To this day, the Scala Opera House is still one of the few luxury theaters in the world. For more than 200 years, Scala Opera House has made great contributions to world art.
