Thanks to the efforts of scientific researchers, my country has approached the world's advanced level in terms of satellite design level, recovery control technology, multi-satellite technology with one rocket, satellite synchronous positioning technology, and ground data and command acquisition technology. The series of satellites developed and launched by my country are widely used in various fields of the national economy and have played an important role in radio and television, data transmission, land census, oil exploration, satellite disaster reduction, etc. Since the reform and opening up, China Academy of Space Technology has carried out useful explorations in establishing a management system and operating mechanism adapted to the socialist market economy, realized the transformation from a single military product to a military-civilian system, and made great progress in exploring domestic and foreign application satellites and satellite application markets, making important contributions to China Aerospace occupying a place in the world aerospace field. On February 20, 1998, a celebration meeting for the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the China Academy of Space Technology was held in Beijing.
