Thirty years ago today, on October 13, 1995 (August 19, 1995 in the lunar calendar), an arsonist in Solingen, Germany was sentenced. On October 13, 1995, the German court in Dusseldorf issued a verdict on the four culprits in the Solingen arson case. 25-year-old Galtman was sentenced to 15 years in prison, and the other three minors were each sentenced to 10 years of reeducation.
