On February 6, 1928, Communist Party members Zhou Wenyong and Chen Tiejun, who were married at the enemy's execution ground, died heroically in Guangzhou. In December 1927, the Guangzhou Uprising broke out, and Zhou Wenyong, secretary of the Guangzhou Prefectural Committee of the Communist Youth League, served as the commander-in-chief of the Workers 'Red Guards. According to the needs of the struggle, the Communist Party of China's Guangdong Province appointed Chen Tiejun to assist Zhou Wenyong in his work. They pretended to be husband and wife, established secret agencies and organized workers to fight. Due to the crazy suppression of the reactionaries, the Guangzhou Uprising failed. In January 1928, Zhou Wenyong and Chen Tiejun were unfortunately arrested at the same time due to betrayal by traitors. When the enemy sentenced them to death, Zhou Wenyong thought that he and Chen Tiejun had fallen in love with each other at work. At the last moment of their lives, they should announce the love buried in their hearts. At the execution ground, they sang the "Internationale" and gave a final speech to the masses. Chen Tiejun announced in public: "We are going to hold a wedding. Let the gunshots of the reactionaries be our wedding salute!" Finally, they shouted in unison: "Comrades, revolution to the end!"
