On this day, 94 years ago, on February 7, 1931 (December 20, 1930, the lunar calendar), left-wing writers Rou Shi, Hu Yepin, Li Weisen, Feng Keng and Yin Fu died in Shanghai. From left: Hu Yepin, Rou Shi, Feng Keng, Yin Fu, and Li Qiushi (Li Weisen) On February 7, 1931, five writers, Hu Yepin, Rou Shi, Yin Fu, Feng Keng, and Li Weisen, were secretly shot dead by the Kuomintang Songhu Garrison Command in Longhua, Shanghai. Five young writers joined the China Left Writers Alliance in 1930. Except for Yin Fu, the other four were members of the Communist Party of China. Li Weisen also served as the Propaganda Minister of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League. On January 7, the Kuomintang Songhu Garrison Command arrested five people on charges such as "Communists" and "propaganda of the Red Revolution." Among the victims, Yin Fu was a poet and the other four were novelists. In order to commemorate the Five Martyrs of the League of the Left, Mr. Lu Xun wrote the famous "Commemoration for Forgetfulness".
