On this day, 89 years ago, July 13, 1936 (May 25, 1936, the lunar calendar), Chen Jitang left the field and the Guangdong-Guangxi Incident ended. Yu Hanmou On July 13, 1936, Chiang Kai-shek ordered the removal of Chen Jitang from his post and appointed Yu Hanmou as director of Guangdong's "appeasement" and commander-in-chief of the Fourth Route Army. On the 14th, Yu Hanmou was sworn in Dayu, Jiangxi Province, and returned to Shaoguan. Chen Jitang was given a 24-hour deadline to leave Guangdong.
