John Dalton (September 6, 1766-July 27, 1844) was a British chemist and physicist. Proposer of modern atomic theory. The key theories he provided have led to tremendous progress in the field of chemistry since then. Incidentally, Dalton suffers from color blindness. The symptoms of the disease aroused his curiosity. He began studying the subject and eventually published a paper on color blindness-the first paper on color blindness ever published. In order to commemorate him, later generations called color blindness Dalton syndrome. As a person suffering from color blindness, Dalton was able to make such great achievements, which made future generations feel the great glory of a scientific giant.
Dalton read and published 116 papers in his life, and his main works include two volumes of "A New System of Chemical Philosophy"
