On September 1, 1904, Miss Helen Keller won in her battle against misfortune, the will of human beings and the power of education, and today she graduated with honor from Radcliffe College.

Miss Keller was born in Tuscambia, Alabama in 1880. She lost her vision and hearing due to illness when she was two years old. Five years later, Ms. Anne Sullivan took on Keller's education. Ms. Anne Sullivan taught Keller to read Braille, taught her to talk by touching Sharizhang's throat to "listen" to its vibrations, and taught her to learn to type on a special typewriter. As Miss Keller was preparing for college courses at Cambridge Young Girls 'School, Ms. Sullivan used the above-mentioned touch conversation method to repeat to Miss Keller what the teacher had said.

While studying in college, Miss Keller used special Braille textbooks, and again Ms. Anne Sullivan helped her understand what the teacher was teaching. Miss Keller not only successfully completed her courses, but also actively participated in social life. Miss Keller's autobiography, My Life, was published in 1903.
