Morse was born on April 27, 1791 in Charlestown, Massachusetts. He loved painting and was involved in the founding of Business Daily (New York). 1826-1845 In 1999, he was appointed as the first president of the National Painting Academy. In 1832, when listening to others talk about the newly discovered electromagnetism, the idea of creating the telegraph came up. In 1838, he formulated the dotted and line system, the Morse code that was later used in the world. In 1854, a U.S. court confirmed his patent rights. From then on, his reputation grew day by day and his wealth increased significantly. In his later years, he engaged in charity. He died on April 2, 1872.
