On this day, 27 years ago, on July 30, 1998 (June 8, 1998 in the lunar calendar), Taiwanese female "congressman" Lin Dijuan died mysteriously in Liaoning. Lin Dijuan's body was transported to Beijing from Haicheng, Liaoning Province on the morning of August 6. On the evening of July 30, 1998, Lin Dijuan, a female "congressman" from Kaohsiung City, Taiwan, was found dead by drug injection in Haicheng, Liaoning. After the event, the public security department made every effort to organize the investigation. On August 6, after continuous fighting day and night by the public security organs of Liaoning Province and Anshan City, significant progress was made in the detection of Lin Dijuan's murder case. Huang Shidong, the criminal suspect involved in the crime, was arrested in Mulan County, Heilongjiang Province at 3 pm on August 4. Another criminal suspect, Zhang Shifeng, was arrested on the 581 train from Yantai to Shanghai at about 11 a.m. on August 6. It was initially found that the case was planned by Li Guangzhi and implemented by Yang Rongxi, Zhao Chuang, Huang Shidong, Zhang Shifeng and others. After interrogation, Huang Shidong confessed: Before the crime was committed, Yang Rongxi and Zhang Shifeng approached Huang and proposed to detain Taiwanese businessman Wei Diangang to recover trade payments for Li Guangzhi. Huang immediately agreed. On the evening of July 27, Huang, Yang Rongxi, Zhang Shifeng, and Zhao Chuang forcibly took Wei Digang and Lin Dijuan to an empty room in the Haicheng City Development Zone in Dalian. During this period, Yang Rongxi repeatedly injected Wei and Lin with a drug that caused coma, and Yang Rongxi and Huang Shidong were responsible for guarding them. At about 11 a.m. on the 29th, Lin Dijuan developed symptoms such as difficulty breathing and pale face. Huang Shidong sent Lin to Haicheng City Central Hospital. After discovering Lin died, Huang fled.
