95 years ago today, on February 12, 1930 (January 14, 1930 lunar calendar), the China Freedom League was established. Declaration of the China Freedom Movement Alliance On February 12, 1930, Lu Xun, Roushi, Yu Dafu, Tian Han, Xia Yan, Feng Xuefeng and others initiated the establishment of the China Freedom Movement Alliance in Shanghai, referred to as the Freedom Alliance. Its purpose is to fight for freedom of speech, publishing, association, assembly and other freedoms, and oppose the rule of the Nationalist government. After the Freedom Alliance published the publication "Freedom Movement", more than 50 branches were established in various places, and many schools, literary and artistic groups and workers' organizations participated. The Freedom Alliance is a peripheral revolutionary mass group led by the Communist Party of China, which has been suppressed by the Nationalist government since its establishment. In February 1931, Long Daodao, the chairperson of the Freedom League, died in Shanghai and disbanded himself.
