Since the reform and opening up, the theater has made new development and development on the basis of inheriting the tradition. In the past 20 years, the theater has staged more than 80 new plays, such as "Dan Xinpu", "Dog Lord Nirvana", "The First Floor in the World", "Corner Hutong", "Ruan Lingyu", "Uncle Beijing", etc. Many of which have won the "Wenhua Award" and "Five One Project Awards". Beijing Renyi has also staged foreign classic plays such as "Death of a Salesperson" and "Hamlet", and created a precedent for Chinese drama to go abroad. Since 1980, the drama "Teahouse" has visited many countries and achieved great success. At the same time, over the past half century, Beijing Renyi has also cultivated a large number of outstanding artists, making gratifying contributions to China's drama art career.
