On this day, 70 years ago, May 13, 1955 (March 22, 1955, the first batch of materials of Hufeng Group were published. Hu Feng Hu Feng submitted the "Report on Literary and Art Practice Since Liberation" to the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on July 22, 1954. Therefore, the Propaganda Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China submitted a report to the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on criticizing Hu Feng's thoughts on literature and art, believing that Hu Feng's thoughts on literature and art were down-and-out bourgeois idealist and anti-party and anti-people literary and artistic thoughts. On May 13, 1955, the People's Daily published the first batch of materials from the "Hu Feng Counter-Revolutionary Group". On May 24 and June 10, the second and third batches of materials were released, and the campaign to "eliminate Hu Feng's counter-revolutionary group" was launched across the country. In 1980, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and relevant departments of the State Council reviewed the case of the "Hu Feng Counter-Revolutionary Group" and rehabilitated it politically, restoring the reputation of a group of people who had been mishandled and unfairly treated because of this wrong case. In 1985, relevant departments reviewed several issues left over from Hu Feng's political history and redressed them and revoked them. In June 1988, after the relevant central departments reviewed several issues in Hu Feng's literary and artistic thoughts, they further rehabilitated them.
