On June 10, 2008 (May 7, 2008 in the lunar calendar), a helicopter crashed in the Sichuan Military Region was found. At 12 noon on June 10, 2008, the reporter contacted Li Weixing, political commissar of the Ya'an Military Division of the Sichuan Military Region, and learned that the wreckage of the crashed helicopter had been found in the Great Red Cliff of Yingxiu Town, Wenchuan. A total of 17 bodies, including 5 crew members, were found, and 1 body was missing. The wreckage of the crashed helicopter was found by officers and soldiers of the Reserve Regiment of the Ya'an Military Division.
