Before liberation, he served as an instructor and general instructor of the special training classes of the Chiang Gang Military Unification Bureau in Linmei, Qianyang, Lanzhou, etc., the head of the Northwest District of the Military Unification Bureau, the director of the third department of the Military Unification Bureau Headquarters, the director of the inspection department of the pseudo-Songhu Police Command, and the director of the security department of the pseudo-Guangzhou Gar On the eve of the liberation of Guangzhou, Cheng Yiming fled to Hong Kong and Macao with the Chiang Gang secret service, and then served as the commander of the 16th Route Army of the Chiang Gang Guangdong Anti-Communist National Salvation Army Guangdong Central Command, the leader of the Macau dispatch team of the second group of the Kuomintang Central Committee, the head of the Macau station of the Chiang Gang National Defense Intelligence Bureau, and the head of the Macau team.
