On August 1, 1929, the Radio Radio Station of the Central Executive Committee of the Kuomintang Party of China, or China Central Radio Station for short, held its unveiling ceremony in Nanjing. At 5:30 pm on the 1st, the ceremony began. There were seventy to eighty people gathered in the Central Auditorium. Chiang Kai-shek, dressed in casual clothes, entered the stadium one after another with Chen Guofu, Dai Jitao, Ye Chulan, and others, saluted with courtesy. After playing national music and reading the Prime Minister's will, Chiang Kai-shek delivered an opening speech saying: Radio and radio stations determine the ability of dead soldiers to give full play to their brilliance and promote the Prime Minister's Three People's Principles for us and carry them forward. It is hoped that with the expansion of radio waves, comrades will work hard on the unfinished revolutionary work. This opening ceremony was also the first broadcast, and China Central Radio broadcast the meeting live. These black boxes attracted many curious citizens, especially the speeches of Chiang Kai-shek and others, which many people heard for the first time.
