After the founding of the People's Republic of China, he successively served as the principal of the nursing school attached to the first army hospital of the Northwest Military Region, the vice principal of the health school of the Lanzhou Military Region, the vice director of the training department and chief nurse of the military medical school of the Lanzhou Military Region, the vice chairperson of the Chinese Nursing Association, and the vice chairperson of the nursing education academic committee.
