On July 22, 1921, modern dance was a dance genre that emerged in the United States at the beginning of the 20th century. The founder was Isadona Duncan (1878-1927), who opposed ballet's formulas and formalist tendencies, and advocated the free expression of ideas and feelings through natural dance movements. This was not only a shock to the rigid traditional concept, but also opened up a wide field for the development of modern dance. At the same time, it also freed the art of dance from the monopoly of a few authorities and made it a mass art. In fact, it does not represent people, but only costume props. Abstract modern dance uses abstract language to express the so-called pure spiritual world. It pursues novelty and grotesque. There are naked actors who apply paint and take turns to attack the curtain, allowing the audience to enjoy the smudged pattern. These factions did not have many audiences in the West, and some were naturally eliminated. At present, modern dance has entered a period of mutual penetration with ballet from the opposition of the original ballet.
