From February 12 to March 13, 1954, the Hungarian football team visited China. They played 11 football matches with the Central Sports Institute, the Locomotive Team, the Northeast Team, the Bayi Team, the East China Sports Institute, the Central South Sports Institute and the Southwest Sports Institute in Beijing, Shanghai, Wuhan and other places, and all won. This was the first foreign football team to visit after the liberation, which had a great impact on promoting the development of football in our country.
