On this day, 32 years ago, on December 26, 1993 (November 14, 1993, the lunar calendar), my country's Yun-7 200A passenger plane successfully made its first flight. At noon on December 26, 1993, the domestically produced Yun-7 200A passenger aircraft developed by Xi'an Aircraft Industry Company spread its wings in the blue sky at Yanliang Airport and successfully made its first flight. The birth of this new type of passenger aircraft marks a big step forward for my domestic passenger aircraft to the international advanced level. The domestically produced Y7200A passenger aircraft is a new type of medium and short-range regional aircraft improved in accordance with the dual airworthiness review standards of China and the United States based on the Y7100 and Y7200B aircraft. It adopts a two-person driving system and is equipped with a newly developed PW127C turboprop engine and a high-efficiency, low-noise, all-composite 247F propeller. The number of passengers has increased from 48 to 52 to 56 to 60. The range has increased from 500 kilometers to 700 kilometers to 1100 kilometers to more than 1200 kilometers.
