Battle of Sanjiahara in Japan

The Battle of Sanjihara (Japanese: Sanjihara Battle) was a war that broke out on December 22, 1573 (January 25, 1573) in Sanjihara (now Hamamatsu City), Japan. The commanders of the two armies were Tokugawa Ieyasu and Takeda Shingen. This was a war that Takeda Shingen brought his troops into the Japanese capital, Kyoto, for the purpose of Ueluo (known as Kamiluo because of the ancient Chinese capital of Luoyang). Takeda's army eventually won and continued to advance westward, but Takeda Shingen's condition deteriorated halfway through and he died on his way back to his territory, Kofu (now Yamanashi Prefecture).
