In December 946, after Yelu Deguang won the war against the later Jin Dynasty, he marched into the Great Liang. Yelu Deguang sent Zhang Yanze to open and beat the Great Liang (now Kaifeng, Henan), and Emperor Jin surrendered.

After Yelu Deguang entered Dalang in 947, he abolished the emperor of Jin and named him as a minister of negative justice, and was placed in Huanglong Mansion (now Nongan, Jilin); he abolished Tokyo and descended Dalang to Yangzhou. Ren Feng Dao was Taifu, and he was promoted to Baiguan. The feudal towns surrendered one after another.

On February 24, 947 (the first day of the second month of the tenth year of Taizong in Qidan), Yelu Deguang, wearing Hanfu, head or Han crown, ascended the main hall, accepted the greetings of the officials, and changed the country's name to Daliao and Yuan Datong.
