On this day, 45 years ago, October 31, 1980 (September 23, 1980, the Party Central Committee decided to expel Kang Sheng and Xie Fuzhi from the party. On October 31, 1980, in view of the fact that Kang Sheng and Xie Fuzhi directly participated in the counter-revolutionary conspiracy of Lin Biao, Jiang Qing and others to seize power during the "Cultural Revolution" and committed serious crimes, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China decided to expel Kang Sheng and Xie Fuzhi from the party, revoke the "eulogy" against them, and announce their counter-revolutionary crimes to the whole party. The issues of Kang Sheng and Xie Fuzhi were reviewed in accordance with the decision of the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. Over the past year, the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of China has done a lot of work to this end. In September 1980, it officially submitted two review reports on the issues of Kang Sheng and Xie Fuzhi to the Party Central Committee.
