Anyuan Coal Mine is under the jurisdiction of Hanyeping Company. It was the largest industry in China in the 1920s, with more than 12000 workers and more than 1100 employees in the Zhuping Railway Bureau. Under the leadership of Mao Zedong and others of the Hunan District Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Anyuan Road and Mine Workers Club was established on May 1, 1922 to protect workers 'rights and interests.
