Breaking-News >> TodayHistory Qu Shisi and Zhang Tongchang died generously
Qu Shiji and Zhang Tongquan On the morning of November 16th, a Qing soldier suddenly opened the door and said, 'Please ask the Qu Pavilion Department and Lord Zhang to discuss.' The two of them naturally knew what was going on, so Qu Shixie said to the visitor with a calm expression: 'Wait a moment, wait for me to finish writing the "Definitive Words".' So, Qu Shixie took up the pen and wrote: 'Calmly wait for death and the death of the city, and the loyal ministers of the ages will Zhang independently. Three hundred years of grace have been long, and the silk of the head is still full of fragrance!' Then, the two cleaned up their clothes, went south, bowed five times and kowtowed three times (the gift of resigning the emperor), placed them on several poems, and went out of the door hand in hand. Qu Shijiao smiled and said to Zhang Tongquan, "The two of us lived for 40 more days, and today, we really died well!" Zhang Tongjing said loudly: "Go out today, and die happily! After I die, I will be treated as a fierce ghost, killing and capturing thieves for the country!" With that said, he took out a treasured net towel from his arms and put it on his head, "Take this to see the late emperor underground!" The two of them traveled to the Diecai Mountain in the north of Guilin City. He looked into the distance, and as far as his eyes could see, it was still full of scenery, Guilin landscapes, so he said to the executioner: "I love the mountains and rivers in my life. This place is quite good, you can go!" Zhang Tongchang's mood was full of excitement. He once said in his life: 'I heard that the virtue of a loyal minister and a filial son will move heaven. "In 1650 (the seventh year of Shunzhi and the fourth year of Yongli), on the 17th day of the eleventh lunar month, the two of them died in Xianhe Rock (south of Fengdong Mountain). After the death of Qu Shijiao and Zhang Tongquan, the former Ming Dynasty minister who had become a monk and had a legal name, was rescued by Qu Shijiao and buried by Jinbao. After Qu Shisi died for the country, he was given the posthumous title of "Wen Zhong" throughout the dynasties. In July of 1652 (the ninth year of Shunzhi and the sixth year of Yongli), Li Dingguo, the former peasant army general who joined the Ming Dynasty to resist the Qing Dynasty, recovered Guilin and wanted to build a temple to commemorate Qushi Si. He also summoned his grandson Qu Changwen to support Qu Changwen's burial in his grandfather's hometown, Yushan, Fushui Rock, Niuwotan. In 1679 (18th year of Kangxi), he was relocated to Niuwotan, Fushui Rock, Yushan. In 1776 (41st year of Qianlong), Emperor Qianlong ordered the compilation of "The Legend of Erchen", which included all officials of the original Ming Dynasty who had joined the Qing Dynasty. Even Fan Wencheng, the important founding minister, was also selected. Those who were loyal to the Ming Dynasty were praised. Qu Shisi was originally posthumously posthumously named "Wenzhong" in the Yongli Dynasty, and then posthumously named "Zhongxuan".
