According to the China Earthquake Network, the magnitude of the earthquake was 6.1, and the depth of the earthquake was 20 kilometers. When the reporter of the headquarters in Afghanistan visited the hard-hit Kunar province, the earthquake caused severe damage to many local villages. Due to the blockage of roads after the earthquake, the wounded can only be transported by helicopter.
Officials from the Afghan National Disaster Management Agency who rushed to the disaster area said the number of casualties will continue to increase.
