The Alliance was reorganized into an open party

On March 3, 1912, the Communist Party of China held a general meeting of its headquarters in Nanjing, adopted a new general chapter, elected Sun Yat-sen as prime minister, Huang Xing and Li Yuanhong as associate ministers, and announced the formal reorganization into an open political party. Then Wang Jingwei was elected as the director-general of the General Affairs Department and Zhang Ji as the director-general of the Communication Department.

The new "General Chapter of the China Alliance" stipulates that "the purpose is to consolidate the Republic of China and implement people's livelihood." The platform is: 1. Complete administrative unification and promote local autonomy; 2. Implement ethnic assimilation; 3. Adopt national social policies; 4. Universal compulsory education; 5. Advocate equal rights for men and women; 6. Intensive conscription system; 7. Organize finances and determine tax rules; 8. Strive for international equality; 9. Focus on immigration and reclamation.

In August 1912, the Alliance was reorganized into the "Kuomintang".
