Tang Yizong Li Wei passed away

Li Zao
Li Yi of the Tang Dynasty (December 28, 833-August 15, 873) was born in a vassal residence on the 14th day of the lunar calendar in the seventh year of Dahe. He was the 17th emperor of the Tang Dynasty (excluding Wu Zetian and Shang Emperor Li Chongmao), Emperor Yi of Zhao Sheng, Gong Hui Xiao, and the eldest son of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty.
Tang Xuanzong died and was greeted as emperor by eunuchs, who was Tang Yizong. He reigned for 14 years and was 41 years old. He was buried in Jianling after his death and posthumously named Emperor Zhaosheng Gonghuixiao. Tang Yizong was the penultimate emperor of the Tang Dynasty. After his ascension, although Tang Yizong was "thick in equipment and magnificent in appearance" and "knew the rhythm of music, like a heaven," the feast was excessive and heavy in wine, resulting in political corruption. The political situation of the Tang Dynasty was even more precarious, which also led to the disappearance of the results of the rule of Dazhong. He was the last emperor of the Tang Dynasty to ascend the throne with his eldest son and the last emperor to spend his imperial career safely in Chang'an.
Key words: August 15, 873, Tang Yizong, Li Qian
