62 years ago today, August 27, 1963 (July 9, 1963 in the lunar calendar), the famous American black leader Du Bois passed away. Du Bois, the pioneer of the human rights movement, died on August 27, 1963. William Edward Burghart-Du Bois, the father of the black intelligentsia and founder of the African Liberation Movement, died at the age of 95. He has been buried in Ghana, West Africa, fulfilling his last wish. In 1961, the great black scholar left the United States forever, settled in Canada, and applied to join the Communist Party.
