Thirty-five years ago today, on March 9, 1990 (February 13, 1990), the China Copyright Research Association was officially established in Beijing. On March 9, 1990, the China Copyright Research Association was established. The China Copyright Research Association is a national mass academic organization engaged in copyright theory research in China. Its purpose is to follow the direction of serving the people and socialism, implement the policy of "a hundred flowers bloom and a hundred schools contend", unite individuals and groups across the country who are enthusiastic about copyright research, carry out theoretical research and academic exchanges on copyright, and promote the establishment and continuous improvement of China's copyright system. The main tasks of the China Copyright Research Association are: to promote theoretical research on copyright legislation, justice and management, to carry out academic exchanges on copyright at home and abroad, to publicize and popularize copyright knowledge, to collect copyright literature, to organize and print relevant materials, and to provide copyright legal advice. The China Copyright Research Association has more than 500 individual members and more than 60 group members. Its highest authority is the Member Congress. The National Member Congress is held every 5 years. During the break of the Member Congress, the Council elected by the Member Congress and the Standing Council elected by the Council preside over the work of the Research Association.
