Breaking-News >> TodayHistory The 96th Emperor of Japan was born
Emperor Go-Daigo Emperor Go-Daigo was the second prince of Emperor Go-Uta in Dajue Temple. His biological mother is the adopted daughter of Minister Hanayama Shiji, Tadako Fujiwara of Tanmen Temple (Tadako Fujiwara's biological father is Tadako Wuji). Born on November 2, the first year of Zhengying (November 26, 1288), he was granted the title of Prince in the first year of Qianyuan (1302). In the second year of Jiayuan (1304), he was granted the title of Chief Marshal, known as Shuai Palace. In the second year of Wenbao (1318), he ascended the throne at the age of 31 due to the resignation of Emperor Haruen. He ascended the throne on March 29 (April 30) of the same year. In the first year of Zhengzhong (1324), the Kamakura shogunate discovered Emperor Houdaigo's attempt to bring down the curtain, and ordered Roppolo to investigate the problem of punishing Hino Zinchao and others who were next to the emperor. The shogunate captured the city with absolute military superiority and arrested the emperor. The Kamakura shogunate deposed Emperor Houdaigo, who planned the fall, and installed Prince Sukihito, who was the head of the Ming Hospital, as Emperor Guangyan. After that, Yoshizhen Nitta raised his army in the Eastern Kingdom and captured Kamakura, and the Hita Tiao family and the Kamakura shogunate perished together. Emperor Go-Daigo, who returned to Kyoto, did not recognize the legitimacy of Emperor Guangyan's throne, respected him as the highest emperor, and deprived him of all power. At the same time, the shogunate and customs control systems were abolished, and the emperor's dictatorship was established, with the emperor appointing and removing official positions on his own. This is the new policy of building arms in history.
