Mohammed Jinnah becomes a "Mumbai Muslim member" of the Indian Legislative Council

Muhammad Ali Jinnah (1947~ 1948) was the founder of Pakistan and the first governor general. He was born in Karachi on December 25, 1876 and died in the same place on September 11, 1948. He entered Lincoln College of Law in London in 1892. He practiced law in Bombay in 1896. He joined the Indian National Congress Party in 1906. He followed the moderate leaders D. Nauroji and G. K. Gokar. He was elected to the Central Legislative Assembly by the Muslims of Bombay on January 25, 1910. He was elected chairperson of the "Muslim League" in 1924. In February 1942, the British government announced that India would be granted full independence. On August 14, Jinnah was sworn in as the first governor of the Pakistani Dominion in Karachi, his birthplace.
