German mathematician Leibniz died

Leibniz died on November 14, 1716 in Hanover, Germany.

Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz (1646 - 1716) was a German philosopher and mathematician. It covers more than 40 fields such as law, mechanics, optics, and linguistics, and is known as the Aristotle of the 17th century. and Newton independently invented calculus. Some people believe that Leibniz's greatest contribution was not the invention of calculus, but the mathematical symbols used in calculus, because the symbols used by Newton are generally considered worse than Leibniz's. Leibniz is a rare generalist in history. His specialties include mathematics, history, language, biology, geology, machinery, physics, law, diplomacy and other fields. He himself is a lawyer and often travels to and from major towns, completing many of his formulas in bumpy carriages.
