March 1, 1922 The birth of Israeli Prime Minister Rabin
103 years ago today, March 1, 1922 (February 3, 1922 in the lunar calendar), Israeli Prime Minister Rabin was born. Nine-year-old Rabin was with his mother and sister Rabin was born in Jerusalem on March 1, 1922. He studied at the University of Miami in the United States as a student. He started entering the military at the age of 18. He served as brigade commander of the Harrell Brigade during the Arab-Israeli War in 1948. In 1949, he participated in the Arab-Israeli ceasefire negotiations as a member of the Israel Defense Forces delegation. In 1950, he served as Chief of Operations of the General Staff of the Israel Defense Forces. In 1952, he studied at Camberley Staff College in the United Kingdom. From 1954 to 1956, he served as Minister of Military Training at the Israeli General Staff and was promoted to Major General. From 1956 to 1959, he served as commander of the Northern Military Region. From 1960 to 1964, he served as deputy chief of staff of the National Defense Force. From 1964 to 1968, he served as Chief of Staff of the National Defense Force. In 1968, he became ambassador to the United States. In the spring of 1973, he returned to China to join the activities of the Israeli Labor Party. He was elected as a member of parliament in January 1974, and in June of the same year he was elected as leader of the Labor Party and became Prime Minister. He served as Minister of Defense from 1984 to 1990. In February 1992, Rabin was re-elected as leader of the Labor Party. In June of the same year, the Labor Party won the general election and Rabin became prime minister again. Prime Minister Rabin is married and has one son and one daughter. Rabin and his father and sister were photographed in 1942, when his mother had just passed away. The newly married couple were full of sweetness and joy. In 1953, Rabin was with his beloved daughter Dalia. He was proud of being a new father. In 1974, when Rabin visited the United States, he bravely danced with Mrs. Ford. This was his only dancing photo of Rabin, who became a grandfather, swimming in the water with his grandson to assassinate Rabin. The murderer was captured on the spot by the police
