Seventy-nine years ago today, on November 4, 1946 (October 11, 1946 in the lunar calendar), the Communist Party of China attacked the Treaty of Friendship, Commerce and Navigation between China and the United States. After World War II, in order to extinguish the revolutionary forces of the Chinese people and turn China into its exclusive colony, the United States signed the Treaty of Friendship, Commerce and Navigation between China and the United States on November 4, 1946, signed by Wang Shijie, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Nanjing National Government, and Stuart, the US Ambassador to China. In December, Gu Weijun, the ambassador of the Kuomintang government to the United States, declared at the US National Foreign Trade Conference in New York: According to the "Sino-US Treaty of Commerce", "all Chinese territory is open to Americans." The main contents are: (1) U.S. nationals enjoy the freedom to live, travel, and do business in China, including manufacturing and processing, cultural education, religion, and charitable causes; they enjoy the freedom to lease, occupy houses, lease land, and choose agents or employees. (2) U.S. goods pay import and export duties and domestic taxes in China, and enjoy the same treatment as Chinese goods and goods from third countries. (3) U.S. ships, including warships, can navigate freely within any port, place, or territorial waters open to China, and may enter any port, place, or territorial waters that are not open when necessary. On the surface, the two sides enjoy equal rights, but China's production is backward and the ocean transportation is underdeveloped, so it cannot be realized. In fact, it is only the United States that unilaterally enjoys political, economic, military and ideological and cultural privileges in China. After the conclusion of the commercial treaty, it was strongly opposed by people from all walks of life in China. On February 1, 1947, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China issued a statement on not recognizing all traitorous agreements of the Kuomintang government, pointing out that "these measures of the Chinese Kuomintang government are completely contrary to the will of the Chinese people, and have caused and will continue to cause China to fall into a crisis of civil war, reaction, loss of power and humiliation, colonization, chaos and collapse." On November 26, the "Liberation Daily" published an editorial: "Comment on the Chiang The editorial pointed out that the Chiang Kai-shek government and the US imperialists signed the "Sino-US Friendship, Commerce and Navigation Treaty" in Nanjing. This is the most shameful traitorous treaty in history. It is one of the major symbols of the Chiang government's treating China as a vassal state of the United States, and it is another new national humiliation for the Chinese nation. The scope of the treaty includes "the whole territory of China", and the content includes various rights that the Chinese people cannot enjoy in their own territory. What Yuan Shikai and Wang Jingwei did not dare to do, Chiang Kai-shek has now done brazenly in order to obtain the capital of the civil war. On December 31, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China issued an instruction to this end, proposing to "create the broadest lineup" and "take a justifiable offensive", "so that this movement will be launched to isolate the United States and Chiang against the colonization of China by the United States
