606 years ago today, on July 30, 1419 (July 8, 1419, the lunar calendar), the event was thrown out of the window. The Czech Republic is a traditional Catholic country. On July 30, 1419, some radical Protestants took to the streets to demonstrate, and crowds gathered in Charles Square in front of the new town hall to demand the release of the arrested believers. As the mood of the march crowd rose, it also aroused the dissatisfaction of the anti-Husi faction. Suddenly, someone threw stones at the Husi believers from the window of the City Hall, which immediately triggered a hair-trigger situation. Furious radicals rushed into the new city hall and, instigated by the crowd, threw a total of seven people, the mayor and city councilors, alive from the windows of the new city hall towards a large group of protesters holding spears downstairs. This was called the "first incident thrown out the window." Later, the riots became more intense and began to attack Catholic churches and related figures, resulting in the Holy Roman Empire sending troops to suppress them. The Protestant believers also rebelled, triggering the 15-year-long Hussite War.
