Forty-one years ago today, on September 7, 1984 (August 12, 1984), 3,000 Japanese young people visited China. In September 1984, 3,000 Japanese young people were invited by Hu Yaobang, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, to have a friendly gathering with Chinese young people for 15 days, and they were reluctant to part ways. The scale of these 3,000 people can be called grand, and as the host, they made great preparations with great determination, especially when China was not well-off. Correspondingly, Japan invites 100 Chinese young people to visit Japan every year, which is still going on today.
