Emperor Kangxi sends troops into Tibet

On December 17, 1720, Emperor Kangxi sent troops to Tibet. Xizang has been the territory of China since ancient times, but it has been invaded by foreign armed forces many times in history, threatening the lives of the local people, normal religious activities and exchanges with the mainland.
